Our garden bar tender Rumble (bless his heart), after sporting a fine and impressive beard for many years, decided to shave it off for charity on Saturday afternoon. Check out these shots of the progression from full beard to clean shave - all done by professional barber Mark . . . All proceeds went to the kids of the IHC. Rumble you lovely generous man you!

Pretties Who Flew:
We said goodbye to our longtime friend Tim Beals, as he has gone off to Canada to live and write music. Tim will be missed by many people in Wellington, not least of all us, as he had been a good mate and his beautiful songs have made many memorable afternoons at The Cross. He will continue to play under the name Ashes of August in Canada; check out his myspace, www.myspace.com/ashesofaugust for info on his 'Truth You Know' E.P. Cheers Tim, Love you bro.
