In 2010 we turned up the heat and took a week to welcome the arrival of summer! We had seven days of fun and madness, including a treasure hunt, free bunches of flowers for mums, The Real Hot Bitches 80’s dance troop (lycra galore), speedos and mini-golf. Summer = WIN.

The Winter of 2009 didn’t phase us – in fact, we campaigned against it! This event was spectacular, with apple bobbing, loads of free live music, a sandpit, surfboards and prizes galore, including one lucky customer winning $1500 worth of travel! TAKE THAT WINTER!

This event just keeps getting better – so much so that we’ve decided that holding it annually just isn’t often enough! Vinyl Club is a day hosted by our resident DJ Apa, where music enthusiasts can sell, swap and buy vinyl – all in the comfort of our lovely Guest Room (with a beer in their hand while they do it!). Sweet!

The Southern Cross Annual Golf Tournament has been held for over a decade. We hire a bus, load it up with customers and staff and head to Karori Golf Course, for a day of golf (Ambrose), beers and a kick-ass BBQ. The winning team gets prizes and a trophy to boot! Oh, plus a lot of glory. Don’t forget the glory.

Every month we host a tasting event for our mailing list. We team up with our suppliers to bring you an evening of complimentary drinks, nibbles and the chance to learn something new – what’s not to like! Get involved, we promise you’ll love it.
