The Dining Room
Welcome to The Dining Room, a place where you can relax. You can choose to sip a coffee and watch the passers by, or get together with friends for a meal – the more the merrier! Grab a table, settle in and let us take care of you.
The Garden
We know Wellington is a four-seasons-in-a-day city, so we’re prepared! If it’s chilly you can cosy up by the fire and we’ll make sure you have a hot water bottle, a blanket and mulled wine in hand. If the sun is out, grab a booth with some mates – we’ll supply the sunscreen, BBQ and beers. With trees overhead and birds chirping, you’ll relax in no time.
The Great Indoors
This is the hub of The Southern Cross, a dynamic space that plays host to an array of occasions. As well as a place to grab a drink and some kai, you can challenge your friends to a game of pool, relax in an armchair with a magazine, admire the local art in our gallery, enjoy live music or rustle up a team for a quiz! Have a wander, meet our staff and get involved.
The Guest Room
We have a soft spot for our Guest Room. How could you not? This unique bar area is ultra cosy and a place where you’re sure to be well looked after (usually by our lovely host Kate!). The Guest Room will delight you with Nana’s floral carpet, plush retro furnishings and the comfiest armchairs around. Need a little music? We’ll put on a record for you. Step in, hang up your hat and sink into a rocking chair.
